It's All Absolutely Fine by Ruby Elliot

It's hard for me give a fair critique on this book because it felt like part of it wasn't for me? It came off as two books in one. The comics and the written portions. As someone diagnosed with depression and anxiety the comics were relateable in a hilarious/approachable way. In that same vain, because I am familiar with mental illness and navigating life with it, the written portions seemed more like Mental Illness 101 for folks who aren't as familiar. Maybe that's what the author was going for, though? And it didn't make me like the book less, I was just less interested in the written out portions because I got most of that information from the comics themselves. Overall, I enjoyed the book and had a lot of great laughs while reading it.
