I am UNWELL! I don't think any book/series has ever made me sob the way this one does. The last book to make me feel the way I do was #4 in this series and I at least knew I had #5 and #6 to get me through the pain. I have to wait a whole year for the next book to destroy me?!
This is the longest book yet in the series (989 pages) and it was also maybe the slowest? There was a lot of time of them just sitting around not doing much. Until about 80% through then shit got chaotic. I didn't mind the slowness, just compared to the last one which was so action packed it was just different.
I found one of the subplots to be very very obvious but I'm still excited to see how it plays out. Even though it seems hopeless for one of my favorite characters I think maybe, hopefully, if these authors have a soul, it will somehow turn around? Please?
Also I just have to say that the only M/M relationship in this whole universe is the slowest of slow burns and I just really need those dummies to fuck.
