My Mother's Eyes: A Short Story by Jeremy Ray
5.0
Thank you so much to Jeremy Ray for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This was an excellent story that in just a few pages was able to capture the fullness of a family’s (particularly a child’s) grief and the different ways someone copes to loss. The story was heartbreaking but also had tints of hopefulness along the edges. One thing that really stood out to me was the truth of the betrayal of memory and how things fade over time. An excellent story.
