The Reality Dysfunction by Peter F. Hamilton

5.0

What can be said about Peter F. Hamilton that hasn't already been said? The guy is probably the top space opera writer in the business and for very good reason. I simply loved the Reality Dysfunction and would recommend any of Hamilton's books since I have never been disappointed. He writes with a clarity and edginess that you don't find in a lot of Science-fiction these days. The Reality Dysfunction is a cross between Vernor Vinge and William Peter Blatty. That description in itself should be enough to make you want to check it out. FYI - this is book 1 of a 3-book series, which continues with The Neutronium Alchemist and The Naked God.
