Walk of Infamy by Sheralyn Pratt

5.0

Fair warning: this book goes fast!

Walk of Infamy serves as the end of the Rhea Jensen series. I've been following this book series since before it was rebooted and I've always been rather fond of it. And this did not disappoint!

As a note: this book can read as a standalone. You can certainly enjoy the ride from this book alone. I would recommend reading the entire series because 1) it gives you a nuanced background into Rhea and 2) it's honestly one of my favorite series out there, so definitely give it a try. If you've read Sheralyn Pratt's other books, this one should most definitely be on the list.

The action is tense--the majority of the book takes in the span of a very intense 24 hour period. Rhea is pushed to her limits in her fight for survival. Definitely pick this one up!

Slight spoilers follow

SpoilerThe ending left me reeling a bit--not where I was expecting it to go. When I had read Pimpernel months ago, I had felt that there were definite connections with Rhea's story but didn't realize how outright those connections were! Now I'm definitely going to reiterate what I said in my Pimpernel review--please let there be a sequel/sequels! I know I'm going to be shortly picking up Pimpernel for a reread haha.
