I really liked this story and the way it explored Lanie and Ridley’s relationship. Also, the audio for this its literally the best way to enjoy this story because of the accents and how immersive it makes the characters.

I do wish the miscommunication between both of them was resolved quicker but given Lanie’s dating history and her family, it makes sense as why she felt doubtful of Ridley. Ridley however had a full plate on his hands but still did the best that he could, with what he knew.

This story felt raw and realistic. The pacing felt a bit slower at some points but it didnt bother me too much since when it picked up, IT PICKED UP! Overall, its a great story with meaningful topics being discussed throughout the book.
