Puck Drills & Quick Thrills by Eden Finley, Saxon James
4.0
Charming couple, charming end to the series. I think the second book is still my favorite (because co-athlete romances are my favorite) but the third, fourth, and this fifth book are great too. All in all, if you’re looking for fluffy, spicy HEA hockey romances, this is a good series. I’m glad it ended with a fun lead in to the Puckboy series, so that the Sadenverse hockey stories can continue smoothly.
This particular book was pleasantly enjoyable. I typically don’t *love* the age gap trope, but a 28 y/o college coach with 38 y/o math professor was perfect. No power imbalance, no predatory accusations, just older jock/nerd vibes with a good high school reunion plot line. Also loved the “older sibling having to be a dad” angst with West. Really made him three dimensional as a character. Overall a great pick.
spice: 4-5/5
