The Final Gambit by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
5.0
Was this series perfect? No. I'm pretty sure some of the absurd plotlines came out of thin air. But, it was engaging and difficult to put down. The characters were well fleshed out, with distinct identities and there was growth. Most importantly, I had fun reading it.
There are still some unanswered questions, the most important one being: Who is Jameson's father? I'm hoping the next book will be the final one and will have answers.
