Snow, Glass, Apples by Neil Gaiman

2.0

From an art perspective, all the non-human(oid) drawings were pretty interesting and fun to look at. This process sounded very labor intensive -- so much by hand, and so much thrown out for small mistakes, especially earlier in the process. Whew!

Text to image formatting was interesting, well-spaced.

The story itself, it was kind of boring to be honest? Not bad, just... okay, I guess. Maybe it was a bigger, more novel idea when it came out and dark fantasy is just too saturated, but I guess I just didn't really get the hype.
