This was absolutely beautiful. It is a fairy tale and a love letter to Harlem in one package. I wish we got more time with the characters because I adored the ones I was supposed to love.
It reminds me of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, but I love the way that this came together more.
Della is my absolute favorite. She had a very nurturing spirit about her. Like a grandmother and a fairy godmother occupied one body.
The love story between Ricki and Ezra is why I wish we got more time with them. This has quickly become one of my favorite love stories. I have to pick up another one of Tia's books now.
