funny and traumatic might be my new favorite combo! I don't know what Jen Beagin has done but for the first time I enjoyed a comedy book (I bet it was the severe mental damage the characters have suffered). it was a perfect balance, it didn't even feel pushed! amazing characters, they were all fucked up, which I know I shouldn't be as hyped up about but man, I loved them. i love weird people in books and this? literal perfection for my taste. no wonder people have been talking me into reading it for weeks, haha. maybe the only thing I didn't like was the ending? it felt kinda off, like it shouldn't have ended like that but other than that yes! great book, i'm v pleased. :)
