This was a stunning fast paced YA adventure filled with mystery, action, drama and suspense.
It has elemental magic in the form's of frost, fire and lightning, dire stakes from evil forces, and a coming of age feel where the reluctant hero is forced into helping save the world and understand their powers and destiny.
With found family, magical allies, and dragons this is a gripping adventure that has you rooting for the characters and wanting them to succeed, as well as heartbreaking moments from betrayals and loss.

As an adult reader I found this was a gripping and enjoyable book that I finished in a day as I couldn't put it down. (My fav character Tiber)
My 10yr old niece also read a copy and said this was a fun adventure with cool dragons magic and fairies and it reminded her of Eragon and How to train your dragon. (Fav characters Luci & Izzy, least fav Vondra the grumpy fairy).
We're both excited to read the next book Frostsight and seeing the adventures continue (and hope to get a secret pet dragon too.)
