This book was… decent. Fair to middling haha. I think I’m just in the mood for something more complex. And I don’t love stories with open endings.
That being said, I liked the background given on the characters. Jameson was my favorite. (Though I do want to know more about the lady that owns the pawn shop.) I’d love to read a book about Jameson “collecting strays” and falling for Valentina.
This book was good, it just also left me wanting more from it.
