With You Forever by Chloe Liese

I keep thinking that I won't love the NEXT Bergman... But... It hasn't happened yet. And It definitely didn't happen with Axel and Rooney.

Rooney is struggling with chronic illness - handled brilliantly as always (also I now have a way to eat GF s'mores that I can't wait to try!) but also her own priorities in life. Axel is... well Axel. He is happy in his cabin in the woods but he can't stop thinking about the human sunshine that is Rooney. He also can't paint... which is problematic as the family a-frame really could use to work. And he really does need that inheritance. As these two adorable idiots engage in a marriage of convenience - who will break first and admit their feelings?

Every page of this slowest of burn (SLOWWWWEST) was perfection. There was so much heart and relatable material (I did not need to be called out this often in a single book...) that I ended up highlighting more passages than I ever have before. The discussion of disability and accepting yourself enough to be with someone else is a story that everyone can learn and grow from. I also loved seeing some previous favorites - Willa has grown so much and her reflection on her therapy is amazing! - and get to see what might happen in the future!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
