this book WRECKED me, tore my heart out and stomped on it, shattered my heart into a million pieces, etc. i NEVER want to see this book again.


i love this book so much it hurts, let me tell you, all the ANGST?!, JEALOUSY?!?, THE TENSION?!?! ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. i will never recover from it. ITS SO OBVIOUS THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. AND THEY GET THAT ENDING?! WHAT THE FUCK STEPHANIE. i need the third book, i need to see them get they're happy ending they deserve. i also love they're banter. <3

jacks he is manipulative, careless & cold. do i still love him regardless? yes. he is very protective of eva, he cares about her a lot but doesn't want to admit it. AND THAT THING HE DID AT THE END?! SJNSJSH

evangeline is compassionate, adventurous & very naive in the first book but not so much in this one. i love her so much. sure there was times i wanted to slap some sense into her but still i love her.
