✨MINI BOOK REVIEW✨

A friend of mine put this book on my radar and as it’s Free on Kindle Unlimited, I decided to give it a shot! And I am glad I did!!

✨” Well, I can’t say that I’m surprised the little pixie princess would rather not get her hands dirty.” ✨

I devoured this book, I didn’t want to put it down and I hate that sleep came between me and finishing this story. I loved way the authors interwove the Knights of the Round table into a new story. The twisted hints at Merlin, Morgana and Arthur had me smiling and eager to discover this modern world retelling mixed with Fey enemies. 

✨ “Because I wanted to kiss you, and I’m not supposed to. And you make it hard for me to stay in control of myself. You destroy my self-control, Nia.” ✨

Our FMC, Nia, has her world turned upside down as she is forced into an academy to become a spy for the resistance. Unbeknownst to her, she is in fact a demo-fey with magic that is important to a band of rebels as they try to destroy the Fey from the inside.  The academy scenes focus less on the teaching as they do on the trials at the end to see if she joins their ranks, but it was enough of a taste that it satisfied me. 

✨”I am going to need to kiss you.” ✨

The forbidden love between our main characters adds a layer of excitement that had me on the edge of my seat. Watching them dance around each other, wondering if he actually feels anything for her was an amazing source of tension for the story!

I can not wait for book two , especially with that cliffhanger that I was NOT expecting. Kudos to the authors for this amazing book!
