My first thought, before I started reading this book, was that it being written in verse was very intriguing. I was curious to see how the story would flow and how readable it would be. Well it was incredibly readable and so hard to put down. The story is based off a year of the author's life and her memories from it. The story is heartbreaking yet beautiful and I really loved every second that I spent reading it. It is one of those books that i feel deserved another read just to have the experience once more. The book is based off a tragedy and deals with a lot of sadness and pain butt here is an ever present sense of hope and promise through out the book, even moments of happiness. Definitely so worth the read.
