I loved reading this. What an incredible woman Miss Carson was, to face down her critics and industry and expose the facts. heavy going in places but I have probably learned more about ecology and the balance of nature from this lady than almost anywhere else (not being a scientist by training!) beautiful and passionate, also highly relevant 50 years on.
