I picked up the audiobook of this series on Audible. It is an interesting read and nice way to pass the time. I really enjoyed the narrator Hannah Somerville. She has a wonderful voice and had a delightful way of keeping the story engaging. Great pace and characterizations.

The story as a whole had things I enjoyed and other things that annoyed me to no end. Overall though it is a good cozy mystery with an intriguing world set up. It has a different murder in each book as the main plot and then a through line of a subplot about the lead character and why she has her current unique abilities. Everything gets wrapped up and explained by book 8, so this is the complete series all in one handy location.
