Trixie and Katya's Guide to Modern Womanhood by Trixie Mattel, Katya

3.0

I picked up this on Amazon Audible as I am a fan of Trixie and Katya both on Drag Race and their comedy series UNHhhh. It was a quick short read with different chapters organised by random topics, in similar style to UNHhhh. Some sections are just Trixie or just Katya themselves, and some parts they both contribute and engage in conversation together. I definitely preferred the chapters when they were both discussing the topics.
Unfortunately I don't think this format worked for their humour, which is usually off the cuff and unrehearsed. The delivery was flat at points for the audiobook narration but I still think this worked better than it would if you read the physical book.
I have their other book Working Girls: Trixie and Katya's Guide to Professional Womanhood on my TBR shelf and I'm in two minds about picking it up but maybe one day I'll get around to it.
