I think it says a lot about the genre that I'm relieved there was no physical abuse bc I really thought this was going there quite a few times. Jonathan needed actual therapy for his anger issues and then maybe this could be 5 stars? I dunno I'm still conflicted on this one. A lot of it was fun and lighthearted, and I adored both Jonathan's family and Sam's employees, which make up most of this. I'm just not sure I'm sold on the romance (the romance book didn't need the romance. My reviews are useless, don't listen to me. Except im sort of right because i think the subplots could carry this).
