What an incredible book. So beautifully written! So evocative! I have only one criticism. I listened to the audio book and this classic of Scottish nature writing was narrated by a English woman. Although doubtless her prononciation of the Gaelic names was correct (even "Rowan"), it still would have been better for a local accent. But, what a book!
