After many months of me dragging with this book I have finally finished and I wish I would’ve switched to the audio sooner because the narrator is truly fantastic!! He really makes the journey a lot more pleasant. And at some point I thought in the back of my head this journey is very similar to CC, in the sense that there was ALOT of “progression” but we could’ve easily done without a huge chunk of this book!!! And comparing the movie adaptation, the pieces they took out is really a great production move because Jesus be a fence🙄

I think overall this will be a solid 3.5-4⭐️ series for me. There’s things that had my cringe (due to not aging well) and there’s things that were more enjoyable and had me laughing. I am enjoying the growth of the writing throughout the series and the growth of the characters. The 6th movie is my favorite so we’ll see how the book does as far as foundation is concerned!
