I loved this book, finishing it in one sitting.

There is a haunting and eerie ambiance about the book and one must be patient and attentive when piecing together the stories of Etsuko and Sachiko.

The twist at the end really got me- the metaphors were so good and yet still I had to go back to really piece together what the heck was happening!

Loved the flow of the writing as always by Ishiguro.
