I'm okay with FMCs having pity parties that just rips your heart out and makes you cry but this one is excessive. She has very low self esteem, tons of insecurities, and she lets people bully her and walk all over her. Gaaahd. I cannot see any reason why the very hot Navy SEAL would be attracted to her at all. Maybe this heroine is acceptable to others but I just cannot stomach this kind of personality.
