Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire

"When she began to howl, it was the senseless keen of someone who has been pushed past their breaking point and taken refuge in the comforting caverns of their own mind."

I've loved Jack as a character in the first book and after finishing this installment I like her even more. The pacing of this book, the creeping atmosphere, the dynamic between Jack and Jill, Dr. Bleak, the Master, were all up to my standards. Out of all the worlds that have been discussed in the first book, I already knew that I would like the Moors the most out of all of them. This was great. I don't know what else to say really ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
