THIS IS MY FAVORITE COSMERE NOVEL SO FAR!! I liked it more than Hero of Ages, which is saying a lot! While I loved HoA for its angst and pain, this story, although it does have some pain, was just the kind of thrilling adventure I needed.

Wow, I don't even know where to begin.

This book was super action-packed. It literally never let up on the action and mystery.

The character development for pretty much our entire main cast was of top-tier quality! I loved them all. This book delivered what I felt I was missing from Era 1, which is a sense of how important each person in our main cast was. No one felt like they were just there or that they were a side character we only needed a surface-level connection with. Everyone had a significant role to play and I loved them all including the amazing new characters who were introduced.

More than that, the plot of this story was just over-the-top amazing. Despite reading this in bits and pieces, I was hooked from beginning to end. There were so many iconic scenes in this one that I found myself highlighting so many parts. The plot twists! The high stakes! THE BIG REVEALS!

Like I said before, I didn't hate the previous two books. I just wasn't blown away by them, but this installment was a huge win for me. Book 4 can't come soon enough!!
