Wild Eyes by Elsie Silver

4.5

Famous singer Skylar Stone flees the pressure and drama of her celebrity life to Rose Hill Ranch in the hopes to record with Ford at Rose Hill Records and find her footing on her own. She finds a lot more than expected when she meets Weston Belmont on a chance encounter, someone who challenges her to show her true self, not just the persona the public has come to expect. Not only does Skylar start to learn how to stand on her own, she starts to question what truly matters, and what kind of life she was really meant to live.

I personally really enjoyed this book! I loved watching Skylar’s character grow and change throughout her hardships and her period of self discovery. I felt Skylar was a relatable character, West is swoon worthy and his family is fun and heart warming. You can’t help but root for them all! I can’t wait for book three (:
