Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

5.0

wow, so simple yet profound.

i’ve been meaning to read this for a while and happened to find it at a thrift store not too long ago. After marts, I knew this would be something that would help me. And it did, but not in the way that I expected it too.

i think everyone should read this, it doesn’t take long to read & the lessons you learn will stay with you forever.

a book about how we never stop learning and growing, even until death, one of my favourite topics. It’s even more touching that this is a real person, a true story. I mourned the loss of morrie even if I only knew him for 200 pages.

I am grateful to know many of these lessons, from experiences i’ve endured, but I will never stop wanting to be reminded of them.

one of my favourite quotes (and there were many of them):
“It's natural to die," he said again. "The fact that we make such a big hullabaloo over it is all because we don't see ourselves as part of nature. We think because we're human we're something above nature."
I’m not sure why this one touched me a lot but i guess it’s something i subconsciously think about a lot.

very touching, i’m happy to have finally read this :’)
