Twenty Years After by Alexandre Dumas

4.0

I can only say: "The Three Musketeers - 20 Years Later" has also impressed me and is a successful sequel to the first part. The story is still fascinating and full of adventure. I was particularly impressed by the loyal friendship between d'Artagnan and his fellow musketeers. I thought it was really wonderful to see how the relationships have developed over the years and how they stick together despite all the challenges. I especially liked the fact that the characters became more complex, but still kept their charm, humour and courage.
I also found the political moments very interesting. The many intrigues and twists surprised me over and over - and that's what I liked.

All in all, it was a good mix of action, emotion and historical themes.⚔️
