Anson's Awakening: An M/M Christmas Daddy Romance by Anna Sparrows
4.0
4 stars
This was a very nice low angst story about self discovering.
Anson has always considered himself a Daddy, but none of his relationship lasted. So he accepts Drake's invitation to spend Christmas at his cabin and after a couple of unexpected events that hit him hard (like being stranded and having misplaced the bag with his own clothes), he starts perceiving things differently.
I like how his sexual awakening was handled, how he felt so at ease with Drake that he trusted him completely and let himslef explore his surprising and confusing new side.
I also liked Drake very much because he offered complete comfort and support without pushing Anson. Drake is a real caring and affectionate Daddy.
What prevented me from giving a higher rate:
I fell like the romantic part of their realtionship was too rushed: I get that Anson felt comfortable and safe with Drake and that Drake adored him completely, but I would have loved for them to spend more time together to let romantic feelings grow.
Anyway, Anna Sparrows books are always a guarantee for a good time.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and this is my honest review.
