A Kiss Remembered by Sandra Brown
fast-paced
- Plot- or character-driven? Character
3.0
During the 90s, Sandra Brown’s novels were scandalous to my teenage eyes and were some of the first books to nurture my love of romance novels! I remember rereading them many times. I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump, so I thought picking up a long-ago favorite would be a good idea.
Boy is it different reading this as a 40-something mature woman! It’s important to understand that these novels were written LONG ago and reflect the ways of the times. There’s quite a bit of cringeworthy moments, but I pushed through anyway. I enjoyed this blast from my past, but I can no longer give it the 5-star rating it once was to me! 2-stars + 1-star for the sake of nostalgia.
