Unmasked: My Life Solving America's Cold Cases by Paul Holes

3.0

Audiobook review.

As a true crime junkie, I was excited to read this book.

Pros: I found the book to be engaging and interesting. It held my attention throughout a long solo drive. I particularly liked the scientific detail.

Cons: Paul Holes’ diction is extremely off-putting. It took a while to get used to and then it became incredibly annoying towards the end (admittedly this was the end of my Labor Day Weekend drive from the beach so maybe I was just more annoyed). I thought it could use some editing. In the spirit of objectivity, the science stuff could be too technical for some people who are not science-oriented.
