A Wilderness of Stars by Shea Ernshaw

2.5/5 ⭐

This book started out so slow and it kept dragging along until about the 70% mark. And then it seemed a bit all over the place.

I didn't really buy how the MC fell in love with Noah after knowing him for just a short period of time. And also they barely had meaningful interactions, besides being on the run together. So I didn't buy into the romance.

The most interesting part of the book was when they made it to the ship, and then I was all in. But I have to say I hated the ending.

Maybe it's my own fault for going in blind and thinking this was more fantasy than it actually was.

Spoiler I would have much rather liked to see them find the ship sooner and for her to make it out and over to the other planet and end the book by going through the black hole and finding Noah on the other side. Or even not finding anything on the other side and dying. Anything but leaving it up in the air...
