This memoir was so powerful and thought-provoking. Jennette McCurdy captures her younger voice so well, communicating the child star’s perspective with humor and poignancy. Highly recommend, if only to think more about the media you consume and what may be going on behind the scenes.
Graphic: Eating disorder
Moderate: Addiction, Alcoholism, Body shaming, Child abuse, Cursing, Emotional abuse, Terminal illness, Grief, and Death of parent
Minor: Cancer, Infidelity, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Rape, Sexual content, and Toxic relationship
