The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

3.0

The writing style was 'peculiar,' though I cant say I accepted anything less from a 1950s book by an English author. I didn't like the christian undertones or subtle sexism, but the story was creative and one I recognized from one of my childhood favorite movies. I just needed a quick read to get me back into the reading groove, so mission accomplished. Would I recommend this book to anyone over the age of 11? I think not.
