I reread Fourth Wing to prepare for Onyx Storm in January. The first time, I read it in just a day or two, but this time I listened to the Graphic Audiobook and took my time. I love the setting and the idea (I just adore everything to do with dragons). The protagonist starts out fragile and weak but grows into a strong, independent woman. The relationships are a bit flat, and the 'problems' between the main character and love interest could be resolved easily. Still, I loved it. It’s not the best-written book of the century, but it’s captivating and engaging, and I enjoy reading and listening to it.
Graphic: Death, Sexual content, Violence, Blood, Murder, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Body shaming, Hate crime, Vomit, Death of parent, Fire/Fire injury, and War
