I read the whole series very close together so everything is all muddled up in my brain.
The first three books would drag for the first 40%, then pick up. This book didn’t have that issue, and I was actually engaged for all of it

I think maybe this series focuses a bit too much on atmosphere for my taste, There was a lot of scenes and chapters where I just didn’t feel like we needed to include this.

But overall it was a solid ghost story, and I did really love the characters.
