honestly the best contemporary I've ever read I think. I felt so seen from the very first few pages it made me cry a few times. in a way, as someone who is fresh out of alevel hell, I really needed this book. 

however, I feel like there were a few plot holes and some parts felt a little..eh. the ending  was nice but I feel like it was left too open ended. but that didn't stop me from enjoying it as much as I did. 

overall, amazing.
