The plot really moved along in this installment. Rand leads the Aiel and Tairen's against the Shaido rebels to defend Cairhiens; Siuan, Min, Leane, and Logain find the rebel Aes Sedai post and convince the Aes Sedai they need to pick their own Amrylin--someone who was not at the Tower during the break; Nynaeve, Elayne, and the guys join the circus while trying to make their way to the rebel Aes Sedai-they also spend a lot of time in Tel'aran'rhoid, where they meet Moghedian. A major and a semi-major character die. Very satisfying!
