i liked some parts better than others. i thought the romance/s were cringy. i understand why they were the way they were, but i just didn't care for them. adelaide was a frustrating but realistic character. i was much more interested in her relationship with her brother toby than the romantic relationships, though. i wish we had focused more on that. overall, it was an okay book, but i'm just not sure what it's really trying to say.
