A Memory of Light by Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson
5.0
Wow. This book is amazing, easily one of the best books I've ever read. Singlehandedly brought my opinion of the rest of the series good but flawed series that only the dedicated should read, to the brilliant masterpiece that changed the face of fantasy forever.
So much happens in this book. The fighting, action, and epic battles begin only a couple of chapters in, and dont stop until the very end. The Last Battle is the whole book. You start to get tired of the mindless violence, and so do the characters, you relate to just how worn out and exhausted these people are. A truly immersive experience.
But the battle is not everything, as every, and I mean every, character arc, plot line, and themes are incredibly tied off, in an immensely satisfying ending that left me breathless. My jaw hit the floor and my mind fully exploded from the twists that have been foreshadowed for over 14 books.
10 out of 10, I very much do recommend.
