Stone of Tears by Terry Goodkind
5.0
It took me a little while to get into the 2nd book, more than half way through actually before I began to love it (as much as I love the first!).
Please don’t give up, it does get there and by the end you’ll be dying to start book 3.
Honestly I’ve not been a big fan of Richard - until now that is, as the series is progressing I’m learning he’s probably a better person than I’ll ever be 🙈 (and embodies everything you’d need in the seeker perfectly).
PS. Never let Terry Goodkind name any characters ever again. I’m still hung up about the hero being called Richard?!? (And Gregory the dragon?).
The ending to the book left me with a sense of peace unlike the ending to #1 (which left me with wtfomgnextbooknow! Feels).
Honestly 2nd best series I’ve ever read and I’m on,y on the 2nd book, can say that without a shadow of a doubt.
