This is a really powerful, deep, insightful, upsetting and beautifully characterised read.
The events unfold in a vivid, compelling way with many jumps to flashbacks, and you get to know everything about the 5 main characters and the devastating reason for the tragic event at the centre of the book's plot.
I couldn't recommend this enough - but be warned, it's very bleak and upsetting in places.
