Admittedly, I knew what I was getting into when I started this book. It did meet my expectations - a cheesy, easy-to-follow romance story I could listen to while doing housework or cooking dinner. On that front I can’t complain. However, I found the characters (particularly Iris) unbearably annoying. Also, in my opinion the explicit sex scenes weren’t necessary and took away from the plot of the story once their relationship progressed a bit. So, overall, if you like cheesy queer romances and are okay with characters who make you want to pull your hair out, you’ll probably enjoy this book a lot more than I did.
