Love this novella of Andrea. I just got initiated into the Kate Daniels world and having read the first three books I was excited to see there was a novella going on for Andrea, a character I really liked from the previous books.

As I already mentioned nice to know about Andea in detail and to see her finally getting together with Raphael, another character I really liked.

Since I am half Greek I also enjoyed the trip down Greek mythology lane. Especially the hidden little savagery the Supreme Duo laid there. Intentional or not it was savage and made me smile, as all savagery does (ヅ)

Though I highly doubt it was unintentional as to understand it you need to have an intimate knowledge of the Greek language and not many actually do.
SpoilerI hung up and looked at Raphael. “Your mother’s mate, what was his name?”
“Alex Doulos”
“Was he a Greek pagan?”
A frown twisted Raphael’s face. “I have no idea. It didn’t come up”

In Greek, Doulos (Δούλος), means slave. Female Hyenas are the dominant ones. Connect the dots..

Lastly, the new POV and the information it delivered was oh so delightful & interesting if not unexpected.

Would definitely like to see more from Andrea, and almost everyone squee worthy from that world.
