A strong story about a self-fulfilling prophecy and the failing of a man in ways he never could've predicted. It's short, well paced, surprisingly funny in the first half and builds into a dreadful, hopeless tragedy the further along you go. There's a nuanced mix of Oedipus' actions resulting in his knowledge of his transgressions, and his fate being entirely pre-determined, that it's interesting to consider if Oedipius' downfall was his fault or not.
It's like 55 pages in total and easy to read with the right translation (Don Taylor was very good), very worth the read.
