I really enjoyed this book of poetry. The first section really bogged you down. It was a lot of heartbreak and sadness. But as the book went on it really grew (like flowers in the sun). It grew to love and self love and reflection and admiration of where she came from. I truly loved how the book was set up like this. Intentional and beautiful. I also enjoyed her sketches throughout.
