If you're trying to decide on whether or not to read this book: READ IT.

This book was so incredible. It was eye-opening and extremely haunting. This book helps give a feel for what life was like during World War II.

I completely fell in love with all of the characters. They were all amazingly well-written so you couldn't help but adore them. The story was touching as well. There were some descriptions of the chaos that was happening all around that were so devastating that I just had to take a second to really grasp what was being said. It's unbelievable that people really did have to go through this and how much disaster reached them. It's so sad that no one truly gets spared and it doesn't matter your age, gender or size of your heart.

I would gladly recommend this to everyone.
