No Tomorrow by Carian Cole

5.0

This book really grabbed my heart and squeezed it for all it's worth.
Really well edited. I don't remember getting distracted by a spelling or grammar mistake even once.
The whole second half of the book made me sob like a baby. Every time you think you have it figured out and you relax a little into the knowledge that things are getting handled the way they should be, another bomb drops and you start spiraling again. There was a point in this book where I really thought I was about to curse Carian Cole out on the damn internet, toss the book out the window, and try to forget I ever trusted her to bring me a love story. Thankfully that wasn't the end of the book and She brought it home with the best possible ending that Blue and Piper could have ever hoped for.
I love Piper so much for her strength. She does the best she possibly can for everyone she loves and I really don't know if I'd be able to do what she has to if I were in her shoes.
And Blue. He tries, man. I have so much empathy for that man. I can't even imagine all the things he's had to try to cope with in his lifetime.
Look.. What I'm trying to say here is that this book was a beautiful story of real life problems and the ups and downs that Piper and Blue have to overcome to finally come together and live a happy, healthy life by each other's sides.
Be prepared to take breaks to calm down, and clean your face. Be prepared for a lot of false starts. Be prepared to be immersed in a love so strong that it overcomes a lifetime of quirks, addictions, and mental health problems.
Be prepared to love these characters so much that you buy the $22 paperback book even though you have the kindle ebook already, because you just need to have physical representation of the people that have been taking up so much space in your mind even months after you first read about them.
